Chernobylite – The Survival Horror Title Makes Its Way To PS5 & XBox Series X/S April 21. Plus PC Enhanced Edition, DLC.

Its going to be quite a big day this April 21st as both the Playstation 5 and XBox Series X/S version of the survival horror title, Chernobylite, gets released. Alongside that the PC Enhanced Edition is also set to release on the exact same date. To add even more excitement, the new and upcoming DLC ‘Blue Flames’ is also arriving too. That should be plenty of Chernobylite action to keep you entertained.


It has now been confirmed, that the popular survival horror title will be making its way to both the XBox Series X/S and Playstation 5. The game had already been released on PC, Playstation 4, XBox One and has since been met with ‘Very Positive’ reviews, especially over on Steam.

The game is based on the 1986 Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster.

In the game players control the character of Igor, an ex-employee of the Nuclear Power Plant, his quest involves the disappearance of his fiancée, that went missing 30 years ago.

Both the Playstation 5 and XBox Series X/S versions of the game will include 4K (Dynamic) 30 FPS and 1080p (Ultra Details) 60 FPS. The Playstation 5 version will also benefit from the DualSense Controllers advanced vibrations and adaptive triggers.


The Enhanced Edition will provide players with improved visuals through the addition of ray tracing.

The Enhanced Edition of Chernobylite for the PC is also said to offer owners of the original game a free upgrade.


The Blue Flames downloadable content is said to be available on all platforms. It is the first of four additional content packs that are schedule to release this year.

This new pack will feature Memory of You: New Activities and Events and a new ‘Silent Assassin’ crossbow. It is also said to tell the tale of Igor and Tatyana through new events and collectibles.

The last pack to release for the game came back during Christmas time last year, it featured the Pripyat map and new side missions. Though, there isn’t much information on it just yet, players can expect the next additional pack to release to arrive later this year. It has been named as ‘Red Trees’ and will contain new story missions and maps.
