Crysis 4 – The Next Entry Into The Popular First-Person Series Is Currently In Development

The next entry into the popular first-person shooter series is now in development, the team over at Crytek have confirmed.

”Right now the game is in the early stages of development so it will be a while yet, but we wanted to bring you the news at this time as we are so hyped for the future, and to let you know that we will be listening to our community.”

The team mentioned in their latest announcement over on their website. The team also went on to speak about and update fans regarding their other first-person shooter title, Hunt: Showdown.

”I also want to let Hunt: Showdown players know that we have some great things planned for you too, this year and beyond, so watch this space.”

This news comes after the latest 1.7.2 patch update that released last Thursday. Which managed to bring in new weapon variants and general game updates. You can read more on that here

Hunt: Showdown is currently available at a 50% discount over on Steam, this sale will end on February 3rd.

As for this latest Crysis 4 news, which comes several months after the release of the remastered version of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3, both of which got released back in October and was met with mostly positive reviews over on Metacritic

It also follows after the announcement regarding the upcoming patch updates for the Crysis Remaster Trilogy on the Nintendo Switch and the Crysis Remastered for PC. The team confirmed that despite now turning their focus on to Crysis 4, that these patch updates are still set to release over the coming weeks. The PC update is said to be their most impactful update and will provide updates and fixes to the CPU & GPU performance and stability improvements, alongside audio and texture fixes.
