A new Dead Space remake has been announced for the Playstation 5, XBox Series X/S and PC. Though no release date has been currently announced, this is great news for fans of the Dead Space games since the series was believed to be dead after the closure of the Visceral Games studio back in 2017.
Visceral Games Studio was the original development team for the Dead Space series but was closed down after it was bought out by EA.
The Dead Space remake will be developed by the team behind Star Wars: Squadrons and is said to be getting completely rebuilt from the ground up.
The sci-fi survival horror classic Dead Space returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up by Motive Studios to offer a deeper and more immersive experience. Harnessing the power of the Frostbite game engine and next generation consoles, this remake brings jaw-dropping visual fidelity and improvements to gameplay while staying true to the original. Dead Space will be available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
