The PC version of the upcoming Death Stranding: Director’s Cut gets new upgrade news, alongside a brand new release date. Plus the base game is now on sale.
After originally being released on the Playstation 5 back in September 2021, it has now been confirmed that the Death Stranding: Director’s Cut will now be heading to PC.
That is not all as we also managed to get a release date for this upcoming title, which is said to be arriving on March 30th, 2022. Though fans still have at least 9 more weeks to wait, this is still good news considering that there was mention that the Director’s Cut was a Playstation 5 exclusive.
The Director’s Cut is said to feature extra missions, improved visuals and performance, digital artbook, backpack patches, and new costumes.
For those that managed to purchase the base version on the PC, you will be pleased to know that you can upgrade your copy to the Director’s Cut for $9.99. Any saved data from the base game can also be transferred across.
Speaking of the Death Stranding base game, that too has had a new update, it has now gone on sale as part of 505 Games’ Lunar New Year. The sale is said to end on February 10th.
Death Stranding was originally released back in 2019 and has since managed to win countless awards such as Best Game Direction and Best Score/Music. It even featured actors such as Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Emily O’Brien (Days Of Our Lives), and Guillermo Del Toro (The Strain)
