A new patch update for the first-person shooter title, Doom Eternal, is said to be releasing this October 26th. With it comes the highly anticipated Horde Mode. The Horde Mode is said to be an all-new arcade style gameplay feature. BATTLEMODE 2.0, new arenas, plus new rewards is also said to be part of this latest update. Patch Update 6.66 is said to be the biggest free update yet
Doom Eternal was originally released back in March, 2020. It pits the player as the iconic Doom Slayer who must eliminate the demonic army of hell and restore peace to Earth.
We managed to play Doom Eternal after its first official release, it was one of our first reviews to be added to the site. Anyway we managed to score the game 3/5. Praising it for the game’s music soundtrack. However, was left a bit disappointed by the collectible codex pages which we felt was needed to really understand the story within the game.
Doom Eternal is available now on PC, Playstation 4, Stadia, XBox One, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5, XBox Series X/S
