eFootball - New Trailer Reveals More Details Including Revamped Gameplay. Releasing Autumn 2021

A new trailer for the free-to-play football game, eFootball, has dropped and it reveals more details and features that players can expect from this latest title.

Some of these features includes the revamped gameplay that has been reworked in order to bring a better and smoother gameplay experience. From controlling the ball to passing. Also those with the Playstation 5 will be able to take advantage of the controller’s Haptic Feedback feature and Adaptive Trigger functions

Back in July 2021, the team over at Konami decided to rebrand the now dropped PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) series and replace it with eFootball. This all came after a a brand new game engine was introduced and the team wanting to revamp their series with new skills, abilities and overall gameplay. This engine, was of course, the Unreal Engine 4 and it will be used to help create this new football title.

As well as being free-to-play, eFootball will also be cross-platform. Though the latter one will only be available in a future update. However, it does mean that everyone can play alongside or against each other regardless of their chosen platform. It will also be the team’s first football title to be released on the next-gen systems such as the Playstation 5 and XBox Series X/S

A roadmap for this upcoming title was also recently released, showing updates right through Autumn and Winter. Starting with the addition of local matches and the ability to play as renowned clubs including Barcelona, Manchester United, Arsenal, and more.. Other such updates that will be added throughout the year features the ability to play online league matches, a new team building mode, match pass system, eSports tournaments, and mobile controller support.

eFootball will be releasing this Autumn for the Playstation 4, Playstation 5, XBox Series X/S, XBox One, and PC. The game will also be releasing on the iOS and Android but at a later date.
