… For some at least.

The official Elden Ring network test is now mere days away from being activated and going live. However, some lucky media outlets managed to get their hands on the network test a few days earlier in order to give their opinions on the game so far.

Elden Ring, unlike with previous games such as Demon Souls and Bloodborne that the company over at FromSoftware are more notable for, is more of an open world style game. However, according to the preview done by the team over at Easy Allies, Elden Ring still manages to feel and play like a souls-like game. With this one cannot help but get the feeling and expectation of a Demons Souls style game but on a much grander scale.

The team over at Easy Allies also went on to mention some of the environments that players can explore, such as forests and beaches. We also got to see a few traps that players will need to confront during their journey.

Meanwhile the team over at Eurogamer, who have now managed to rack up an amazing 23 hours worth of gameplay, managed to focus on showcasing many of the hidden NPC characters and various other potential spoilery aspects of the game.

This network test will be available for the rest of the public this coming November 12th, and for all of the necessary dates and times regarding this test, you can go here to read more

For now enjoy the hands-on preview videos created by these media outlets.

Elden Ring will be officially releasing on February 25th, 2022 on the PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, XBox One, and XBox Series X/S
