Evil Dead: The Game has now officially been delayed until February 2022, it was originally scheduled to release this year (though no exact date was given)
The reason for the delay is so that the team can finish giving the game the extra touch and polish. The announcement regarding the delay came from the official Twitter channel, which said the following..
‘Evil Dead: The Game will be releasing in February 2022 Hey groovy gamers, we’re targeting a new release date to give the team some extra time for polish and to ensure this is the ultimate Evil Dead experience you’re all waiting for!’
Evil Dead: The Game is based on the hit horror film franchise created by Sam Raimi. The franchise features character Ash Williams (played by actor Bruce Campbell) as the main protagonist. Ash Williams will also be a playable character within the game and actor Bruce Campbell will be voicing him.
Other characters from the franchise is also said to be included within the game, this includes both Kelly Maxwell and Pablo Simon Bolivar
Evil Dead: The Game is set to release in February 2022 for the PC, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, XBox One and XBox One X/S
