Better value for personalized specs.

Global Taiwanese giants, GIGABYTE, has updated its quality G5/G7 gaming laptops with the latest 12th Generation Intel® Core i5 processors and impressive NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 30-series graphics cards.

Striking the perfect balance between affordability and incredible gameplay, the new G5/G7 models are designed to compete against other upper mid-tier gaming laptops like Dell’s G5 Gaming Laptop and Victus by HP® Gaming Laptop.

Both GIGABYTE’s G5 and G7 line-ups offer 3 different specs each, featuring distinct options for gamers to consider based on budget.

Nevertheless, all share the same 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12500H CPU running core clock speeds between 2.5GHz and 4.5GHz. Other similar features include Full High Definition (FHD) display and 2x DDR4-3200 RAM slots capable of handling volatile memory up to 64GB.

Enjoying a 22% reduction in size, the G5/G7 gaming laptops are now more portable to bring along anywhere. Their internal cooling system is also outstanding, boasting exhaust vents around all sides of the rear and underneath the GPUs.

Maybe it’s time for us to take notice of GIGABYTE’s incredible product catalogues, especially after NVIDIA has just released its expensive new GeForce RTX 40-series cards into the market.

The only difference between a G5 notebook and a G7 laptop is the size of the display screen. G5 models have 15-inch FHD screens while the G7 versions enjoy a bigger 17-inch FHD monitor instead.

For the G5/G7 KE model, a USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 port is added, allowing unbelievable data transfer speeds and phone charging rate. Other G5/G7 laptops are not so lucky, so the slight difference in price for the premium model might just be worth it in the long run.

Specs for components like the Storage Drive vary depending on region instead, but other goodies that the G5/G7 computers do share are:

  • 1x USB Type-A 2.0 port
  • 1x USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 port
  • 1x USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port
  • 1x Mini DisplayPort 1.4
  • 1x HDMI 2.1 port
  • Etc.
