Greedfall – The PS5 Upgrade Does NOT Support (PS+) Playstation Plus Free Version
Were you one of those people that recently took advantage of Greedfall on (PS+) Playstation Plus? Perhaps you were planning to use that version in order to take advantage of the free Playstation 5 upgrade? Well if you said yes to both of those questions, then unfortunately I have some bad news for you…
The teams over at Spiders and Focus Home Interactive have confirmed that the free Playstation 5 upgrade does not support the (PS+) Playstation Plus version of the game.
This was confirmed on the official Greedfall Twitter account which said the following..
‘Hello, the free version obtained by the PS+ subscription is not eligible for the free upgrade to the PS5 version’
Greedfall was available as part of the January Playstation Plus lineup. This means that anyone who wants to play the game on Playstation 5, will most likely need to purchase the actual Playstation 5 version of the game.
