.Hack//G.U – Last Recode: Is Being Remastered For The Nintendo Switch. Due March 2022

The fan favourite .Hack series is now being remastered for the Nintendo Switch, having previously been released on both the Playstation 4 and PC.

.Hack//G.U Last Recode features all 3 .Hack titles including; Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption, which all come fully remastered and the inclusion of the 4th volume Reconnection, which is a new addition to the game series. As well as enhanced visuals, .Hack//G.U. also comes with improved gameplay and brand new modes.

.Hack//G.U. Last Recode managed to score a 7.6 for the Playstation 4 version over on Metacritic and a score of 6.9 for the PC version, criticising the game for the lack of effort put into the various scenes and for how old everything feels, such as the mechanics. However, fans also praised it for its unique MMORPG feel and character interactions.

.Hack//G.U was originally released between 2006 and 2007 for the Playstation 2. It pitted players controlling the character of Haseo, who finds himself on the hunt for a character named Tri-Edge all whilst being stuck in an MMORPG type world.

The game will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch on March 10th, 2022. However, whilst you wait enjoy the new trailer below, which shows several scenes from each title and Haseo’s struggle to find Tri-Edge and get revenge!
