The next Marvel Avengers dlc comes without any story missions, the team over at Crystal Dynamics told IGN. Instead the story will be told through audio logs and illustrated cutscenes, which can be unlocked by completing specific challenges.
This may come as a surprise to some, especially when the game’s past dlc (including Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, and Black Panther) all managed to feature story missions. The reason for the change is due to the team wanting to prioritise the Klaw Raid, which will be arriving at the same time as the Spider-Man dlc. The team over at Crystal Dynamics stated that they would rather spend their efforts on content that everyone can enjoy. Which would make sense given that the upcoming Spider-Man dlc is a Playstation-exclusive.
The team also went on to describe the Spider-Man dlc as being more of a Hero Event rather than an actual Mission Operation, so expect things to be a little bit different in regards to the new dlc.
The Spider-Man dlc entitled, With Great Power, will be available this November 30th for both the Playstation 4 and Playstation 5.
