The Saints Row reboot has been officially delayed and will now be releasing in August 2022, five months after its original intended release of February 25th, 2022.
The main reason for the delay is that the Saints Row reboot needs more polish and time in the oven before being released to the public.
The announcement regarding the delay was posted on Twitter by the Saints Row team, which stated that …
”If we released on the original date, it wouldn’t be up to the standards we’ve set ourselves, and that you’re expecting and deserve. The team just need more time to do our vision justice; we’re doing some fine tuning and there won’t be much change in the game outside of overall quality and polish”
Saints Row reboot was originally announced back in August this year and will introduce the new city of Santo Ileso, where players will get to play as someone, who at first, is still trying to adjust to life. The game will also be set in a wild west environment, so expect tumble weeds.
The Saints Row reboot will be releasing on August 23rd for the PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, XBox One, and XBox Series X/S
