According to reports it would seem that the Action Adventure title ‘Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor‘ will be closing it’s online servers soon.
Though, this may not deem as much of an issue to some gamers out there. What it does mean however, is that if these servers do indeed go offline then certain trophies and achievements will no longer be obtainable.
These trophies and achievements include Repaid in Blood which requires players to work together online in order to take down an enemy in a ‘Vendetta Mission’
With the servers going offline this not only just affects the trophies and achievements but also the following too;
- The Nemesis Forge feature will no longer be available. Therefore, players will no longer be able to transfer their in-game Nemeses from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor to Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
- Vendetta missions and Leaderboards will no longer be available.
- WBPlay will no longer be available, but the epic runes “Orc Hunter” and “Gravewalker” will automatically be awarded to all players.
The servers are said to be going offline this December 31st, 2020 so if you plan on getting those much needed trophies and achievements, you better hop to it!
