Sonic Colours: Ultimate – The Physical Editions Have Been Delayed In Europe, Africa & Middle East Due To Logistical Reasons

The physical editions of the upcoming platform adventure have now been delayed in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. This includes both the standard and keyring editions. However, this does not include those in Australia and New Zealand.

The announcement regarding the delay came from the official SEGA Europe team over on Twitter, who mentioned that the delay was due to logistical reasons.

They didn’t specify what the logistical reason was exactly, though since the COVID-19 pandemic is still on-going it may well be due to this, and the fact that the shipping and freight have also been having issues within these selected territories.

For those who purchased the digital version of the game on any of the supported platforms will be okay, this issue only concerns the physical copies.

Sonic Colours: Ultimate is a remaster of the Nintendo Wii version which was released back in 2010. The game is scheduled to be released this September 7th in most territories, whereas for Japan and East Asia the release is September 9th. The game will be releasing on the PC, Nintendo Switch, XBox One, and Playstation 4
