Two PlayStation 4 essentials land on PC in the form of the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection

Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection lands on PC giving PC gamers a long-awaited peak at how one of the best game franchises of the last decade looks at its highest possible settings. The collection was brought to PlayStation 5 on January 28th, 2022, and within less than 10 months comes to PC. The collection features the games Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, games that released in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Sony has begun a trend of releasing some of its best titles from the PlayStation 4 onto PC giving PC gamers a taste of what they’ve been missing out on. This move has been vastly successful with critically acclaimed games such as Spiderman and God of War arriving on PC as well to much appreciation from the PC community.

The move by Sony this time seems a little more calculated as they only ported the last two games in the franchise as opposed to all 5. The Uncharted series has five games under its belt, but PC gamers will only get a taste of two. This move is quite smart as PC gamers who take a liking to the two titles would be eager to know the full story covered in the other games. This will draw PC gamers to purchasing the game for the PlayStation they may have, and if they don’t have a PlayStation, hopefully buy one just to experience the story the way it’s meant to be.

The story of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End follows Nathan Drake on a journey of self-reflection after the events that took place in the past 3 games, fair play Sony. Nathan Drake after leaving a trail of bodies in his wake retreats to a much less exciting life and works as a diver for a salvaging company. This life proves quite unfulfilling for Nathan though and he still craves the thrilling escapades and constant life-threatening situations he found himself in. The return of his brother, Sam Drake, is the kicker he needed to draw him back and naturally he finds himself on another adventure.

Uncharted Lost Legacy, which was initially meant to be a DLC, follows the story of Chloe Fraser, a character who appeared in earlier games on a journey in search of the tusk of Ganesh.

The PC port runs buttery smooth and has the capability of being run at 4K and 60 FPS, a pipe dream for PlayStation 5 enthusiasts. Take a peek at the game’s requirements down below and see if your rig can run it.
