
XBox Series S – A New Smaller Model Has Been Announced. Priced At $299
A new smaller version of the next-generation XBox has been announced and is set to release this November 10th. If the latest report from Windows Central is to be believed
This new XBox Series S is said to be a smaller version of the XBox Series X, and is titled as the ‘Next gen performance in the smallest XBox ever’
A few facts from a newly released video states the following about the new XBox Series S
- Nearly 60 percent smaller than Xbox Series X
- All-digital
- 1440p resolution at up to 120 frames per second
- DirectX ray tracing
- Variable rate shading
- Variable refresh rate
- Ultra-low latency
- Custom 512 GB NVME SSD powered by Xbox Velocity Architecture
- 4K streaming media playback
- 4K upscaling for games
With this the next generation XBox will be priced at the following prices; XBox Series S will be $299 and the XBox Series X will be priced at $499 and as said before is apparently set to release this November 10th
Microsoft themselves have not officially confirmed a specific date for the release, however they have stated it being sometime in November which means that this November 10th date could indeed be correct. Microsoft also stated that more news will be announced ”soon”
