The white wolf, otherwise known as Geralt of Rivia has arrived in this latest statue piece that has been manufactured by the team over at Prime 1 Studio. It comes complete with an LED illuminated base, plus several different swappable head portraits
As a witcher from the School of the Wolf, Geralt of Rivia is a master swordsman with superhuman abilities. He also did not reside from Rivia, despite his title. In fact the name ‘Geralt of Rivia’ only surfaced when he was left by his mother and raised in the realm of Kaedwen. It was a chosen name in order to appear more trustworthy.
In this latest statue piece, Geralt is seen standing on top of a Witcher themed base, which features The Witcher wolf logo. He also seems to be carrying the heads of slain Nekker creatures. In the Witcher video games, Geralt has the ability to claim heads as various different trophies.
The Witcher is based on a collection of novels that were written by Polish author, Andrzej Sapkowski. They were originally released back in 1986-2013 and span a total of 6 novels and 15 short stories. The series was then created into a video game by the team over at CD Projekt Red, which was released in 2007 for the PC. The series was a huge success and ultimately sequels were then released, with the latest being The Witcher III: Wild Hunt.
Fans can now pre-order this The Witcher – Geralt of Rivia Deluxe Edition statue, which is expected to release around February – May 2022.
For those who may be a bit light in the money department, then you can also check out the much cheaper Collectors Edition statue. This version also comes with the LED base, however it does not include the swappable head portraits.
