How to Catch Alpha Geoclaw in Aniimo
Alpha Geoclaw is one of the two hidden Alpha Aniimo in the game, and it’s probably one of the Aniimo preventing you from completing your Aniidex.
Players can find this Aniimo inside a hidden underground cave in western Nimbus Fields, near the Breezy Plains Branch. However, even when you reach the marked location, Alpha Geoclaw is nowhere to be found.
That’s because you need to unlock Earthwake Revelation from the Breezy Plains Branch before you can access Alpha Geoclaw’s location. The catch is that you’ll need to collect 120 Lumin Amber to unlock it, which can take quite a bit of grinding.
Once you’ve unlocked it, head west from the Breezy Plains Branch toward the cave’s location. You’ll come across a pond with several Glacy and Skippy nearby.
Destroy the Ice using any fire attack, then use a small Aniimo like Lunara/Helion to enter the opening.
Track the Alpha Aniimo’s location, or simply sprint ahead until you reach the area where Alpha Geoclaw spawns. Once you find it, defeat it for a chance to catch it.
Since Geoclaw is an Ice Aniimo, you can bring a Fire or Earth team to counter it if you can’t brute-force your way into defeating it.
How to Evolve Budclaw into Geoclaw in Aniimo
Yes, you can evolve Budclaw into Geoclaw in Aniimo.
All you need to do is find a Budclaw with the Tenacious trait and level it up to 21. However, you’ll need to defeat Alpha Geoclaw first to unlock the evolution.
