In this guide, we’re covering Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit How to Distract Chica. Chica is one of the animatronics in the game that our protagonist, Oswald, must overcome. During the second night, Chica is in the kitchen with one of the trapped kids and Oswald has to find a way to distract her.
To Distract Chica We Must Catch the Rat!
After realizing Chica is easily distracted by food, Oswald makes a plan. Return to Jeff’s Pizza. If you ask Jeff for a slice of pizza, he’ll refuse since you have no money. Leave Jeff’s through the main entrance and go to the Mill. Pick up the Rat Trap.
Return to Jeff’s and jump into the ball pit. Go to the Party Hallway, where a rat is located, and set the trap down. The rat will not approach the trap if you’re near it. Return to the Dining Area and hide under the table for a minute before returning to the trap. The rat should now be inside.
Release the Rat
Pick up the rat in the trap and return to Jeff’s. Go to the far left side of the Dining Area, where a woman is sitting at a table talking on her phone, and release the rat. Her panicked screams gets Jeff’s attention and he moves away from the Employees Only door, allowing you to sneak inside.
Once in the kitchen, pick up the slice of pizza and return to the Party Hallway at Freddy’s.
Distracting Chica
Set the piece of pizza by the trash can in the Party Hallway and then hide under the table to your left. Chica will come out and eat the pizza. You can use the opportunity to sneak by her and get to the kitchen.
