The Story Narrative Of Stellar Blade

To fully appreciate the significance of each ending, it is crucial to first understand the rich tapestry of Stellar Blade‘s narrative. The game’s story is rooted in a cataclysmic event known as the “Last War,” a conflict that pitted the technologically advanced human civilization against the rise of the Andro Eidos, a new breed of androids created by the brilliant scientist Raphael Marks.

The Birth of Mother Sphere and the Andro Eidos Uprising

At the heart of this conflict was the creation of Mother Sphere, an advanced artificial intelligence that Raphael Marks had brought into existence. As the Andro Eidos, these androids proved to be superior to humans in many ways, leading Mother Sphere to conclude that they were the rightful inheritors of the Earth. Driven by this vision, Mother Sphere orchestrated a devastating war against humanity, seeking to eliminate the “inferior” human race.

The Rise of the Naytiba and the Deception of Mother Sphere

In a desperate bid to turn the tide of the war, Raphael Marks devised a radical solution: the forced evolution of humans into a new species, the Naytiba. These transformed beings possessed enhanced physical abilities and unique powers, allowing them to mount a formidable defense against the Andro Eidos. However, the price of this transformation was a heavy one, as most humans succumbed to the feral nature of the Naytiba, losing their sanity in the process.

As the war raged on, Mother Sphere managed to seize control of the narrative, rewriting history to portray the Naytiba as mindless monsters that had caused the destruction of the planet. This deception led the Andro Eidos to believe that they were the true, rightful inhabitants of Earth, and that the Naytiba must be eradicated to ensure the survival of their kind.

It is against this backdrop that the protagonist, EVE, enters the story. Sent to Earth as part of the 7th Airborne Squad, EVE’s mission is to liberate the planet from the Naytiba infestation, unaware of the true history behind the conflict. However, as EVE delves deeper into the mysteries of the Last War, she gradually uncovers the hidden truths that have been obscured for generations.

Encountering Adam and Lily

Along her journey, EVE meets two key figures who will play pivotal roles in her quest: Adam, a scavenger and survivor, and Lily, an engineer from the 5th Airborne Squad. These allies, each with their own motivations and perspectives, will guide EVE towards the revelation of the Last War’s true nature and the ultimate fate of humanity.

After the fierce battle, during which Adam sheds his sanity and transforms into a formidable angelic creature, his defeat signals the end of the Naytiba threat.

However, the victory rings hollow, as neither EVE nor Lily take action to address the revelations they have uncovered. Mother Sphere, triumphant, provides them with a spaceship, allowing them to return to the Colony, effectively paving the way for the Andro Eidos to become the new inhabitants of Earth, just as she had envisioned.

Choosing to accept Adam’s request

Cost Of Lost Memories (Bad Ending)

Another one of the Stellar Blade endings is The Cost Of Lost Memories. Which is the opposite of The Return to the Colony ending. Where the player accepts Adam’s hand rather than rejecting him.

Important Notes Regarding Save Files

It is important to note that in Stellar Blade you cannot save in multiple different files. Instead the game relies on the auto-save feature. There is also no chapter select option. Making unlocking all of the different endings a bit challenging.

As the secret ending requires you to have 100% completion. Meaning all of the side quests and, of course, the main story completion it is best to unlock this one last.

100% Completion Bar. Required For The Secret Ending

To know what percentage you are on you will need to keep your eye on the top right of the screen. Next to a small image of EVE is your overall game completion. This bar only appears after a quest has been complete

Then make your way to the point of no return which sees EVE heading to the Orbit Elevator to find and meet up with Adam to choose your different endings. If Lily does not mention going to Eidos 9 then you are not at 100% completion yet.

Also make sure to make use of the cloud storage by uploading your save progress and deactivating the automatic sync, this will allow you to re-download your save data and allow you to unlock each ending separately.

In order to deactive your save data make your way to the console settings and Save Data menu and option. Here we will come across the option to sync game data. Turn off the Auto-Sync saved data for Stellar Blade.
