The Dead Space (2023) Remake has arrived and so to have plenty more collectibles, missions, and nightmarish horrors.

Speaking of collectibles, there are quite a few of which to collect. Most of which are scattered through the various different chapters and you will need to play them all if you want to collect every one of these collectibles and get the most out of the game.

These collectibles range from audio logs, weapons, nodes, and more. For the purpose of this guide we will be covering those that are found during Chapter 1 – New Arrivals.

LOCATION: Main Hangar Bay
COLLECTIBLE: Log (Background Request)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Follow the Security Team
GUIDE: This one can be found on the floor when tasked with exiting the ship with Hammond, at the start of the chapter. It is on the Kellion ship.

LOCATION: Flight Lounge
COLLECTIBLE: Log (Sponsored Article – The USG Ishimura)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Open the Access Door
GUIDE: This one can be found sitting on the table by the ‘Welcome Aboard’ picture sign.

LOCATION: Story Related (Flight Lounge)
COLLECTIBLE: Log – RUN!
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Get to Safety
GUIDE: This one is story related. We will automatically unlock it after encountering the first wave of enemy creatures.

LOCATION: Service Workshop
COLLECTIBLE: Weapon (Plasma Cutter)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Get to Safety
GUIDE: We can acquire this weapon by interacting with the workbench. The workbench can be found after riding the elevator down and hearing someone sobbing in the distance.

LOCATION: Hangar – Cargo – Tram Control
COLLECTIBLE: Log (Send Help)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Get to Safety
GUIDE: Head to the Control Room to find this one on the wall.

LOCATION: Hangar – Cargo – Tram Control
COLLECTIBLE: Log (Repair the Tram System)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Get to Safety
GUIDE: This is another story related collectible. Daniels will get in contact with us regarding ‘repairing the tram system’

LOCATION: Tram Tunnel
COLLECTIBLE: Stasis Module (Weapon)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Replace the Damaged Tram
GUIDE: This Stasis Module is located on the ground. By the malfunctioning door.

LOCATION: Tram Tunnel
COLLECTIBLE: Log (Stasis Door)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Replace the Damaged Tram
GUIDE: To get this one we will need to stand next to the malfunctioning door. Eventually it will pop.

LOCATION: Tram Repair Room
COLLECTIBLE: Log (Dismemberment)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Replace the Damaged Tram
GUIDE: This one is story related. We will get it at the Tram Repair Room.

GUIDE: Scan the walls of the Tram Repair Room for a small blue box that contains our Node.

GUIDE: This one sits on a table. Should be an easy spot.

GUIDE: Begin repairing the damaged tram. Activate the claw controls. There are two that we need to interact with. Hopefully the computer will then read an error and Daniels will get in contact with us. The log should then pop. Do NOT use stasis before this occurs.

COLLECTIBLE: Log (Replaced The Tram Car)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Replace the Damaged Tram
GUIDE: This one is story related. We will unlock it once we have successfully fixed and replaced the damaged tram.

LOCATION: Cargo Hall Storage

MISSION OBJECTIVE: Find the Data Board
GUIDE: Interact with the circuit breaker next to the Maintenance Bay. Activate the Cargo Hall Storage breaker. Enter the Cargo Hall Storage.

LOCATION: Maintenance Bay
COLLECTIBLE: Log (Repair Invoice)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Find the Data Board
GUIDE: From the Maintenance Bay proceed and rise the elevator lift up. You will then find it in this next room, near the circuit breaker.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: Find the Data Board
GUIDE: Use the circuit breaker and activate the Maintenance Room. Ride down the elevator lift. Enter the Maintenance Bay Office.

GUIDE: This log can be found inside the Maintenance Bay Office. On the shelving.

GUIDE: This one is story related. We will get it when we complete the ‘Call the Tram’ mission objective.

LOCATION: Flight Deck Supply Room

MISSION OBJECTIVE: Return to the Kellion
GUIDE: From the Service Workshop proceed and ride the elevator. In this corridor we can find the Supply Room.

LOCATION: Flight Lounge
COLLECTIBLE: Log (Arrived On The Bridge)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Return to the Kellion
GUIDE: This one is story related. We get it as soon as we return back to the Flight Lounge.

LOCATION: Main Hangar Bay
COLLECTIBLE: Log (Go To Medical)
MISSION OBJECTIVE: Return to the Kellion
GUIDE: This one is story related and we will automatically get it once we return back to the Kellion ship.

LOCATION:

MISSION OBJECTIVE: Get to the Medical Deck
GUIDE: Interact with the store to purchase the Level 2 Suit for 10,000 Credits.
