Controlling the Shi’arcraft

To start your Shi’arcraft racing journey, head down the stairs in town and find Yuferius on the right side. He will guide you to a ship where your training will commence. Before diving into the races, take some time to explore the town and familiarize yourself with the controls.

Controlling the Shi’arcraft may feel a bit slippery at first, but with practice, you’ll quickly get the hang of it. Your main goal is to beat the target time and collect souls, which are blue floating lights along the race track. Each soul you collect charges up your dash bar, allowing you to use dashes on straight paths to improve your time. Additionally, utilizing the metal conveyor belts between dashes can provide an extra speed boost.

Speaking with Yuferius to begin races!

During the races, you’ll encounter green gates that you must pass through. Missing a gate incurs a three-second penalty, so make sure to navigate through them accurately. Take advantage of the platforms in the course to gain more speed, but be cautious of tornadoes that can slow you down. If you’re about to miss a gate or hit a tornado, remember that you can break to avoid any penalties.

Winning The Shi’arcraft Race

After completing the practice round, it’s time to prepare for the main race. Head to the inn on the right side of town to rest before the big event. Once you feel ready, inform Yuferius, and the race will begin. The main race follows the same course as the practice session, and your objective is to beat your previous time.

During the main race, there are no additional obstacles or racers to contend with. It’s a test of your skill against the clock. If you manage to surpass your practice time and emerge victorious, Skyd, a prominent character, will agree to lend their aid in the war against the Empire. Both Skyd and Yuferius will join your party, and you’ll receive the coveted Golden Scale Armor.

Recruiting Allies and Rewards

Completing the Shi’arcraft races not only grants you the Shi’arc’s alliance but also opens up opportunities to recruit new allies. After winning the main race, head back to your headquarters and speak with Scarlet at the port. She will offer you the chance to race against her. If you defeat Scarlet, she will join your party as a valuable defensive unit.

Additionally, make sure to recruit Reyna, another formidable ally, while you’re in Dabavin. Reyna can be recruited by defeating her in battle. Having both Scarlet and Reyna in your party will greatly enhance your combat capabilities.

As you progress through the game, don’t forget to report your success to your allies in the Great Hall. Sharing your achievements will strengthen your bonds and pave the way for future missions. Remember, every ally you recruit brings unique skills and abilities to the table, enhancing your party’s overall strength.
