One of the optional side quests within Elden Ring relates to the Sorceress Sellen. Who, once her objective is complete can become a merchant.
However, this requires us to take down the Mad Pumpkin Head.
FINDING THE MAD PUMPKIN HEAD
In order to find Sorceress Sellen we need to find and defeat the Mad Pumpkin Head. We can find the Mad Pumpkin Head by heading to the Waypoint Ruins.
At the Waypoint Ruins there will be an underground tunnel, head down here to find the Mad Pumpkin Head.
MAD PUMPKIN HEAD
The Mad Pumpkin Head mainly attacks using a flail and a pumpkin shaped helm. It is also considered to be slow
Moves that you will need to look out for include his wild strikes which is when he uses the flail twice consecutively.
His other main attack includes using a huge tomahawk attack which will pound the area in front of him.
FINDING SORCERESS SELLEN
After the fight against the Mad Pumpkin Head you can then find Sorceress Sellen in a room just next to the site of grace
Sorceress Sellen can teach the player various different magic spells, which is great if you plan on playing that type of class. Here you can learn spells such as; Glintstone Pebble, Glintstone Stars, Glintstone Arc, Crystal Barrage, Scholar’s Armament, and Scholar’s Shield.
