Fatal Frame or Project Zero for those in Europe has many different endings to the game, with most of the characters having a total of 2 different endings. However, the character Ren has a total of four different endings.
In order to unlock them all you will need to replay the final chapter, Final Drop: Bride From Black Water, several times in order to complete the various necessary conditions.
Unlocking them all will net you with the following trophies and achievements; Black Water Bride, Love after Life, Floral Reminiscence, and Missing Mother, Missing Child
Below is a guide on how to unlock each one.
MIU – DREAM ROAD ENDING
- CHARACTER: Miu
- ENDING: Dream Road
- INFO:
- This one is the good ending for Miu.
- In order to unlock it you will need to make sure to take a photo of Miku during the Twilit Peak section, on the Final Drop: Bride from Black Water chapter
- This will require you to take a photo of Miku at least four times.
MIU – SHADOW CHILD ENDING
- CHARACTER: Miu
- ENDING: Shadow Child
- INFO:
- This one is the more emotional ending for Miu
- In order to unlock it you will need to make sure you do NOT take any photos of Miku during the Final Drop: Bride from Black Water chapter. So basically do the opposite from what you need to do for her other ending.
REN – A COLD SPRING ENDING
- CHARACTER: Ren
- ENDING: A Cold Spring
- INFO:
- In order to trigger this ending you will need to select the Bundle of White Hair during the Final Drop: Bride from Black Water chapter
- From there defeat Shiragiku in a ghost battle and then that is all there is to it. You do not need to use the touch ability as the scene will play automatically.
REN – INSIDE THE BOX ENDING
- CHARACTER: Ren
- ENDING: Inside the Box
- INFO:
- In order to get this one you will need to pick the Bundle of White Hair.
- From there do NOT attack Shiragiku, instead simply stand idle by the black box and wait for a scene to trigger.
REN – LOVE AFTER DEATH ENDING
- CHARACTER: Ren
- ENDING: Love After Death
- INFO:
- In order to unlock this one you will need to select the Photo of a Bride option during the Final Drop: Bride from Black Water chapter. Then you will meet with Ose Kurosawa
- When you gain control once again, do NOT take a photo of Ose, instead use the touch ability (R2 – Playstation)
REN – BOX OF LONELINESS ENDING
- CHARACTER: Ren
- ENDING: Box of Loneliness
- INFO:
- For this one you will need to select the Photo of a Bride option
- Then unlike with Ren’s other Ose ending, here you will actually need to take a photo of Ose.
YURI – EMBRACE ENDING
- CHARACTER: Yuri
- ENDING: Embrace
- INFO:
- During the final battle against Ose Kurosawa, you will need to use the touch ability on her whilst you are still underwater.
YURI – BRIDE OF BLACK WATER ENDING
- CHARACTER: Yuri
- ENDING: Bride of Black Water
- INFO:
- During the final battle against Ose Kurosawa, you will need to use the touch ability whilst you are above water.
- The battle will begin underwater, so fight and defeat Ose. Then when the music stops and she stops attacking, just stand idle and the battle will then turn into a surface fight.
