(FF7R) Final Fantasy VII Remake : How To Get All Cloud Dresses (Black/Blue/White) Guide

During Chapter 9 – Town that Never Sleeps there will be a small segment in which our hero Cloud will need to dress up as a lovely female complete with a fancy dress.

Just like in the original Cloud is able to dress up in all kinds of different dresses, including dresses with a different colour and for the purpose of this game we have a few colours to choose from such as; White, Blue and Black.

HOW TO GET THE BLUE DRESS

In order to get the blue dress you will need to complete and reply to the following sections with a specific response.

TASK: Vegabond Johnny
RESPOND WITH: Yes
When you see Johnny running around the city, make sure to follow him and reply to his question with a ‘Yes’

TASK: Sam’s Coin Toss
RESPOND WITH: Either Head or Tails
When you are tasked with speaking to Sam about the Don he will decide to flip a coin, choose either ‘Heads’ or ‘Tails’ it doesn’t matter which.

TASK: Madame M
RESPOND WITH: Either Luxury or Standard
When you are tasked with speaking to Madame M she will force Cloud to get a hand massage, choose either ‘Luxury’ or ‘Standard’. 

TASK: Complete Burning ThighsThe Party Never Stops and A Dynamite Body
Burning Thighs, The Party Never Stops and A Dynamite Body are all side quests that will only activate if you are doing this correctly thus far.

After you have done all of that you can continue the story.


HOW TO GET THE WHITE DRESS


In order to get the white dress you will need to complete and reply to the following sections with a specific response.

TASK: Vegabond Johnny
RESPOND WITH: Ignore Johnny
When you see Johnny running around on the street IGNORE him and do NOT follow him

TASK: Sam’s Coin Toss
RESPOND WITH: No Deal
When you are tasked with speaking to Sam about the Don he will decide to flip a coin, choose ‘No Deal’

TASK: Madame M
RESPOND WITH: Poor Man’s Course
When you are tasked with speaking to Madame M she will force Cloud to get a hand massage, choose ‘Poor Man’s Course’

TASK: Complete Burning ThighsPrice of Thievery and Shears’ Counterattack
Burning Thighs, Price of Thievery and Shears’ Counterattack 
are side quests that will only appear if you have done this correctly thus far.

Once you have done all of that you can continue the story.


HOW TO GET THE BLACK DRESS

The black dress is by far the easiest dress to get and unlock as it requires minimal effort. All you have to do in order to unlock it is to simply IGNORE all of the side quests. Do NOT complete anything that is not story related, great for speedrunners! 

As a lot of this requires to dance alongside Andrea I decided to include the video of where I managed to get Perfect and Max score against him, which I until now wasn’t able to pull off. So here is the video on that if you are interested.

x10 – Great and x28 Great is what is required to get the Perfect Max score, you don’t exactly get anything for pulling this off just bragging rights ha!

Completing this will also count towards the Dressed to the Nines trophy achievement. Dressed to the Nines requires you to get all of the costumes for CloudTifa and Aerith
