In this Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit Prologue Walkthrough, we’re covering how to make it out of Freddy Fazebear’s alive. The prologue takes our main character, Oswald, to the past to experience the game’s horrific history firsthand.
Introduction Into The Pit Prologue Walkthrough
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit begins with a young boy named Oswald while he draws the animatronics from Freddy Fazbear’s. Oswald’s father calls his name and they leave. His father is on his way to work and he plans on dropping Oswald off at Jeff’s Pizza. Oswald complains that there is nothing to do in the rundown town, which everyone seems to be leaving. They’re short on money and the Dad expresses his guilt. He drops Oswald off at Jeff’s before leaving.
Jeff’s Pizza Prologue Into The Pit
A few hours pass and Oswald is still waiting for his father at Jeff’s. He overhears the family next to him talking about a closed-off ball pit.
The gameplay begins after Oswald overhears the family and gets up from his seat. Your first objective is to get to the ball pit. You can use W / A / S / D to walk and Shift to run. Use E to interact with things and M to open your map.
To get to the ball pit, walk to the right, past the family, to the door at the very end. It’s the third door down without a label above it. On the other side is the creepy ball pit. Oswald decides he’s going to hide and scare his dad, so your next objective is to hide in the ball pit. There are two achievements that can be acquired here.
The first is GOOOAL! This achievement can be obtained by kicking one of the balls into the doorframe. They move around when you run over them, so it isn’t too hard to kick them around. The second achievement is Into the Pit, which you get by jumping into the ball pit.
Freddy Fazbear’s Prologue Walkthrough
By jumping into the ball pit, Oswald is somehow transported into the past. When he resurfaces, the room is full of kids dancing to music. Exit the ball pit room and you’ll see familiar animatronics dancing on the stage. A sign on the wall confirms that Oswald is no longer at Jeff’s Pizza, but Freddy Fazbear’s. Talk to the kids in the yellow and purple hats, Mike and Chip. Oswald realizes he’s in the past.
They invite Oswald to the arcade. To get to the arcade, head to the left side of the Dining Area and go through the red door on the far end. In the next room, go through the door with the word “Pizza” above it. Talk to Mike and Chip right on the other side to begin a skeeball game. The arrow shows which direction your ball will go. Press the spacebar once you know which direction you want it to go. Press space again when the white meter, indicating the strength of your throw, is where you want it.
Let’s Play A Game
Mike and Chip suggest a game of tag next. Once you’re caught, they suggest a game of hide and seek. Run back into the arcade room and go to the far right side. Go through the door and you’ll see a Golden Freddy suit. Hiding in the suit will give you the It’s Me achievement. Use A and D to pan your camera around. One of the kids runs in and hides in the vent, but is quickly caught by the other. They leave.
Suddenly, all the lights go out and you have to press space to hold your breath to keep from being caught by an animatronic. When the screaming begins, run back to the Dining Area. You have the option for an achievement called See Ya Dad and an early ending here by escaping through the front doors.
Head towards the door to the left of the “Employees Only” door, where you’ll come face-to-face with an animatronic. Leave and go back towards the arcade, where you’ll see a pile of dead bodies. Quickly press space to dodge the table that the animatronic swings at you.
Run back to the ball pit at the far end and use it to escape. Use the tables along the wall to hide as you make your way back to it. Once you escape, Oswald’s father is there to lecture him. Suddenly, an animatronic jumps out and drags Dad into the pit. Jump in and rapidly press E to pull him back out. This concludes the end of the prologue.
