How To Heal Your Citizens In Manor Lords
In Manor Lords, herbs play a vital role in Healing Your Citizens. These natural resources can be used to promote the health of your citizens, particularly during times of sickness. However, acquiring herbs in the game isn’t as straightforward as it might seem.

Herb Resource Locations
In Manor Lords, herbs can’t be found naturally on the map like other resources. Instead, they are gathered by foragers while they collect berries, provided your gatherers have the necessary upgrade. The first step to gathering herbs is to build a Forager’s Hut from the ‘Gathering’ crafting menu.
Building a Forager’s Hut To Increase Your Chances Of Healing Your Citizens
A Forager’s Hut serves as the primary means through which you can gather herbs. To build it, access the ‘Gathering’ crafting menu and select the option to build a Forager’s Hut. Once constructed, your staff working at the Forager’s Hut will periodically grow herbs after collecting wild berries.
Upgrading Your Forager’s Hut
To enhance your ability to gather herbs, you need to upgrade your Forager’s Hut. This upgrade, referred to as the Herb Garden upgrade, requires 25 Regional Wealth and two Planks. Make sure you have enough resources and a Saw Mill producing planks before you initiate the upgrade.

Utilizing Herbs for Healing Your Citizens
Once you’ve started gathering herbs, they’ll be stored in the Granary and subsequently distributed to burgage plots as required. Your population will naturally use these herbs when they fall sick, making it a great idea to start accumulating herbs early on to prepare for potential health emergencies.
Dealing With Large Populations
As your population grows and surpasses around 250 people, your basic wild berry growth may not suffice for the number of herbs required. In such cases, you might find your herb stockpile reserves dwindling. To counter this, consider expanding into areas rich in berries or importing herbs.

Expanding into Dense Berry Regions
Expanding your settlement into areas dense with berries can significantly boost your herb production. This is where the Forest Management development comes into play. This development is one of the best for increasing herb yield, making it a valuable asset for Healing Your Citizens.
Importing Herbs
If expansion isn’t a viable option, you can look into importing herbs. While it can be a bit costly, importing herbs can help maintain your herb reserves, ensuring your citizens stay healthy.
