The familiar Asian board game is back and it comes with yet another set of puzzles for players to play and solve. Also, like the previous games, the game also comes with a total of 10 Shogi challenges to try and clear. In doing so you will unlock the following titles Lord of Puzzle Shogi, King of Puzzle Shogi
However, when you first come across the Shogi mini-game you will notice that Puzzle Shogi isn’t available straight away, that is because you need to unlock it.
In order to unlock it you need purchase the Artisanal Shogi Set for 1,000 Points. Meaning you will need to win a few games in order to gain points to purchase it

Otherwise here is a simple guide on how to complete each Puzzle Shogi match
HOW TO UNLOCK PUZZLE SHOGI
HOW TO WIN RANKED MATCHES. EARN POINTS
(NOTE: Sometimes it is random if you win the match, this is because the AI sometimes skips turns. So when doing this keep an eye on the amount of moves, if it doesn’t sync up with the video then exit the game and redo it.)
HOW TO COMPLETE ALL 10 SHOGI PUZZLES
SHOGI PUZZLE #1
- Move the captured piece and place it between the other pieces on the board
SHOGI PUZZLE #2
- Move the captured piece and place it under the piece to the left, next to the piece on the right
SHOGI PUZZLE #3
- Place the captured piece to the right of the piece that sits alone on the left
SHOGI PUZZLE #4
- Move the middle piece on the left, one spot North. Do Not Promote
SHOGI PUZZLE #5
- Move the piece on the bottom right and place it on the empty square 5 spaces up
SHOGI PUZZLE #6
- Place the captured piece to the very top of the board, next to the piece on the right. Check
- Move the far piece on the left and place it on the left side of the middle piece. Promote
SHOGI PUZZLE #7
- Move the captured piece to the top right of the board. Check
- Move the piece near the bottom of the board and place it a few squares up, to the only other place it can go. Don’t Promote
SHOGI PUZZLE #8
- Move the middle right piece and place it next to the piece underneath it. Promote
- Move the piece on the far right side of the board and place it one square up. Promote
SHOGI PUZZLE #9
- Move the middle piece in the middle row and place it in the middle top row. Promote
- Move the captured piece and place in on the middle row, in between the pieces on the top row and third row
SHOGI PUZZLE #10
- Move the piece that shares a row all by itself and move it one place to the right. Promote
- Move the piece on the top row (second row from the top), and place it to the left side, next to the piece on the row below.
