Luto is a psychological horror game that’s no stranger to puzzles. It’s filled with a mind-boggling series of challenges that players must solve in order to progress. Chapter 4 of Luto has plenty of them, which makes sense since it’s the longest chapter in the game. One of these is the Chest Puzzle, which you’ll encounter around the middle of the chapter. How to Solve Chapter 4 Luto Chest Puzzle?

Enter the room with a brown chest and a note. Walk toward the portrait of a house, and you’ll notice that it doesn’t have a door. Tap the doorway and use the Miniature Door that you recently found in Chapter 3 inside Grandma Dolores’ chest. The door will shut, locking you inside until you solve the puzzle.

Next, pick up the note that lists four special items: Painted Roof Tiles, Clay Pieces, Wooden Cross, and Lizard Figurine.

Beside it is a locked chest. To open it, you’ll need the correct combination, which is hidden within the clue you just found. To solve it, look around the room and count the items from the list. You’ll need their numbers to unlock the chest.

If you want to skip counting all of them, here are the correct answers:

• Painted Roof Tiles: 3
• Clay Pieces: 7
• Wooden Cross: 1
• Lizard Figurine: 5

Use these numbers in this order to unlock the brown chest: 3715

You won’t find anything inside the chest, but you’ll hear a loud knock right after opening it. Look at the portrait of the house and tap the door to open it. Inside, you’ll discover “Eva’s Shattered Photograph.” Keep this item as it will be useful for another puzzle in the House of Lost Dreams.
