Luto is a psychological horror game that not only gives an eerie feeling, as if someone’s watching you, but is also filled with mind-boggling puzzles. Some of the early ones include the hidden clock and telephone puzzles. To complete them, you’ll need to get the hammer. This hammer appears to be stuck on a chandelier, and there doesn’t seem to be anything in the room that could help. Here’s how to get the old hammer in Luto.
How to Get the Hammer in Luto
From the first area, turn right and go downstairs until you reach a room with a chandelier and a ladder. On the chandelier, you’ll see an old hammer that’s stuck. Even if you try to reach it by standing on the stairs, you won’t be able to grab it. At the same time, the ladder cannot be used.
To get the old hammer, you need to find a way to shake the chandelier so the hammer falls off.
Walk toward the door across the stairs, turn right, and you’ll find a telephone. Interact with it and tap “SOS.” Each tap causes the ground to shake and the chandelier to swing. Dial SOS three times until you hear a heavy object hit the floor.
Then, head back to the room with the chandelier. Look at the ground, and you’ll find the old hammer.
How to use the old hammer in Luto
From the location of the telephone, turn right, head downstairs, go left, then left again to return to the first area. On the left side, you’ll find a door blocked by wooden planks. Hover your cursor over the nails and destroy them. Accessing this door will allow you to get one of the seven hidden clocks in Luto.
