To create dyes in Manor Lords, you will need two primary ingredients: stockpile berries and a Dyer’s workshop.
WHERE TO FIND BERRIES
Berries can be obtained through trading posts or by utilizing Forager Huts near wild berry hotspots. It’s important to note that foraging for berries is seasonal, and each Forager Hut can only gather a maximum of 64 berries at a time, limiting the quantity you can acquire naturally.
In the early stages of the game, foraging for berries may not pose a significant challenge. However, as your population grows, the demand for berries as a food source increases rapidly. To ensure a steady supply of berries, consider investing in the Forest Management development, which doubles the capacity of berry growing zones. Alternatively, settle in an area with rich berry spots to meet the demand for both food consumption and dye production.
If importing berries becomes necessary, establish a trade route to streamline the process. Importing berries comes at a cost of 13 wealth per berry, so be mindful of the expenses involved
ENOUGH TO DYE FOR
Once you have obtained dyes, you can begin using them to create clothes and cloaks. Each item requires one dye for production. To ensure a seamless production process, make sure you have a steady supply of yarn and linen at a weaver’s workshop to craft the necessary apparel commodities.
