So here’s our Pragmata Sector Guard boss guide.
How to beat Pragmata Sector Guard Boss
Sector Guard is a massive bot that uses AoE weapons, and every hit can take a huge chunk of health. Knowing his weaknesses and how to deal with him quickly makes the fight far more manageable.

- Head back to the Shelter via the Escape Hatch in the Main Control Room to heal and recover.
- Upgrade firmware: suit, primary weapon, and Diana’s hacking skills, and check Unit Printer upgrades as well.
- Equip Stasis Net and the Shockwave Gun.
- Adjust mouse and hacking sensitivity since this fight demands more precise hacking.
- Equip the Decode Hacking node to increase damage
How to beat Sector Guard Boss
Sector Guard has a large HP pool and heavy-hitting attacks, but there are ways to chip him down while minimizing damage taken.
We highly recommend utilizing Diana’s hacking ability here. This is rather non-negotiable here. Not doing so will only result in negligible damage. After hacking it, the Sector Guard will expose its weak point, which is the large orange tank behind it.

For the entire combat, use Stasis Net to hold it in place, reposition behind it, get as close as possible, and use the Shockwave Gun up close to deal burst damage.

As for the hacking phase, this boss features a 5×5 panel with three blue nodes and one red node. Avoid the red node, as hitting it will reset the hack.

This boss casts different attacks.
In the first phase, it charges forward twice. Dodge sideways, then use Stasis Net to stop the second charge. It also summons small red circles around himself. Step out of range and continue hacking and attacking.

At 70% HP or after getting hit by a critical shot, the boss will have a purple bar under its HP, allowing you to dish out a special attack.

Halfway through, Diana’s Overdrive Protocol is introduced, allowing you to immobilize all enemies. Use this on the boss to take advantage of its temporary stagger and deal free damage.

By the latter half, it dashes three times and creates larger red circles. Focus on running, and only dash when necessary. The thruster gauge is limited early on, so avoid wasting it on unnecessary movement.
