(RDR2) Red Dead Redemption 2 : Errand Boy (Trophy Achievement) Guide

​Here you will find a guide on how to achieve the Errand Boy Trophy / Achievement

For this Trophy / Achievement you will need to complete 5 different Companion tasks which require you to fetch certain items. This is another missable set of quests, so again be warned!

1) Dutch – Pipe

CHAPTER ACTIVATED: 2 & 3
ITEM REQUESTED: Pipe
MISSABLE: Yes

INFO:
I managed to activate this quest during Chapter 3, in the morning whilst everyone was getting Breakfast. It is however, random.
So the best thing to do is farm for this quest by staying around and waiting for it to spawn on the map.

The quest itself is quite straight forward when you do have it activated, simply head to the small building by Little Creek River, beware though there may be a friend waiting for you inside the property. The Pipe is on the desk to the left of the door.

2) Jack – Book

CHAPTER ACTIVATED: Chapter 2
ITEM REQUESTED: Book
MISSABLE: Yes

INFO:
This will randomly spawn on the map. I tended to have more luck on a mornings though, however just stick around Camp and hopefully it will spawn rather quick.
Jack will want a Book, a Penny-dreadful book to be more specific. Now I have no idea what a penny-dreadful is nor had I even heard of the word before, so this took me some time to work out.
Regardless, you will find the required item near the small Hut that should be marked on your map, it is rather close to Emerald Station.
The book can be found on top of the drawer to the right of the door, the book is named ‘Otis Miller and the Black Hearted Lady’

3) Mary Beth – Fountain Pen

CHAPTER ACTIVATED: Chapter 2 (ONLY)
ITEM REQUESTED: Fountain Pen
MISSABLE: Yes

INFO:
This one became available for me during the evening. You will find Mary standing near her Camp/Tent writing, when this happens speak to her.
She will want a Fountain Pen, the Pen requested can be found at the exact same location as the book that Jack requested (the building near Emerald Station)
The Pen is at the exact same drawer as the book also, apart from you will need to open the drawer this time in order to find it.

4) Sadie – Harmonica

CHAPTER ACTIVATED: Chapter 2
ITEM REQUESTED: Harmonica
MISSABLE: Yes

INFO:
This one randomly spawned into my mission logs during Chapter 2, Sadie just came up to me and requested a Harmonica. Again though, I’d suggest just hanging around Camp and hopefully she will jump out of nowhere on you too and request the item.
The Harmonica can be found near a building near Flatneck Station. The item itself is found on a cupboard to the left of the door.

5) Susan – Herb

CHAPTER ACTIVATED: Chapter 2
ITEM REQUESTED: Herb
MISSABLE: Yes

INFO:
This activated for me during the morning, however it as with the others often found to be rather random, so again just stay around Camp and hope for the best.
Susan will want a Herb for seasoning as she is sick of Pearsons cooking. Thankfully this Herb is not too far away, in fact it is almost within walking distance from the Horseshoe Overlook Camp.

6) Hosea – Book 

CHAPTER ACTIVATED: 2
ITEM REQUEST: Book
MISSABLE: Yes

INFO:
This one is quite an easy one to activate unlike the others, as I got it unlocked instantly when I wondered over to Hosea’s Camp in Chapter 2. There is a ‘White’ book by his bed which unlocks this.
