One of the many different collectibles found within the game are the various different character and weapon models.
Getting them all will net you the trophy achievement Doll Collector

As you play through both the main game and Mercenaries you will obtain currency known as CP, this can be used to unlock certain weapons and models. Purchasing them all will net you the Doll Collector
You can view the full list during the game by heading to the ‘Main Menu’ and then ‘Bonuses’ here you can view your currently unlocked models and purchase new ones too
