Tormented Souls 2 Lighter Puzzle (How to get Pliers and Lighter)

After escaping the infirmary and exploring the Tormented Souls 2 Matron’s Office, you’ll eventually reach an area where the lights start flickering and turning off one by one, until you’re left in total darkness. Don’t stray too far in the dark, as it can kill you. Naturally, the best way to deal with this is by finding a light source. Fortunately, there’s a Lighter you can pick up, though it’s not exactly easy to find.

Here’s how to get the Lighter in Tormented Souls 2.

Players can find the Lighter on the bottom floor of the Bell Tower.

After leaving the Infirmary and entering the South Corridor 2F, head straight down the hallway and take the left turn.

Continue ahead until you reach the stairs. Walk down, and pick up Anna’s Sketchbook then enter the Matron’s office.

There are several useful items you can pick up here. In the middle of the room, you’ll find a Recorder, which lets you save your game, and a First Aid Kit to restore your health. Inside the box, you’ll also find a pair of Pliers, an item you’ll soon need to get the Lighter.

Exit the room and return to the South Corridor 2F. This time, head in the opposite direction. Shortly after, the lights will start to shut off one by one. Stay in the dark for too long, and you’ll die, so move quickly. Keep going until you reach the end of the hallway, then enter the Bell Tower through the door ahead.

After entering the Bell Tower, head down the stairs until you come across a hanging corpse.

On the corpse, you’ll spot the Lighter, but it’s bound by metal wire. This is where the Pliers come in handy. Equip them from your inventory, cut through the wire, and claim the Lighter.
