Caroline Walker finds herself trapped in the Tormented Souls 2 Freezer Room Cell during the Processing Plant section. You must escape, however, the solution is not that obvious.

How to Escape the Freezer Cell in Tormented Souls 2
The Processing Plant is a large area with a complicated design and many puzzles. Escaping the freezer cell is one of the puzzles you must solve here. You will need the Nailer and ammo for this weapon. If you don’t have nails, you can find a box during the early section of the Processing Plant, just before the hidden room.
Use the Crowbar to break the crate and collect the nails. As you go into the corridor with the cells, you can find another box of nails on the left. The nightstand next to the bed with the VHS Tape – Freezer has a box of nails as well, so there are plenty of opportunities to get nails before being trapped in the Freezer Room. Make your way to the Conference Room and watch the tape. Complete the Past sequence, return to the Basement, and enter the Freezer Room. After the cutscene featuring Anna, you will end up trapped in the Tormented Souls 2 Freezer Room Cell.
How to Unlock the Freezer Room Cell Door
Collect the Light Bulb and search the Freezer Cell for a way out. Notice that you can interact with the door and look through the door slot.
Select the Nailer from your inventory and use it to shoot a nail at the button. Hit the button and the door will open.
You can now exit the Tormented Souls 2 Freezer Cell and continue investigating the Processing Plant.
