Yakuza: Like A Dragon has many different side quests or substories that you can try to find and complete, one of which is Like Father, Like Son
This substory / side quest is triggered during Chapter 9 – A House Of Cards
It involves a son trying to assure his worrisome father
- LOCATION: Isezaki Iljincho, Chinatown
- QUEST GIVER: Yuta

- SUBSTORY NUMBER: 31
- PREREQUISITE:
WALKTHROUGH:
- As you approach your destination you will notice two chefs and a woman, apparently she was given the wrong order
- Leave the area and then return once a blue speech bubble appears
- When you get the chance choose to Accept the father’s request
- Once again leave the area and then return when you see a blue speech bubble
- When the various dialogue options appear, select the Polish up your skills! option to earn Kindness +10 (Please read below)
- Yuta will tell Ichiban about his plans of working at Heian Tower in order to impress his father.
- For the third and thankfully final time, leave the area and once again return when a blue speech bubble appears
- Unfortunately Yuta will end being bullied despite his best efforts and a fight will break out
- After the fight, the substory will then end.
