Yakuza: Like A Dragon has many different side quests or substories that you can try to find and complete, one of which is Preparing To Suck
This substory / side quest is triggered during Chapter 9 – A House Of Cards
It involves a giant vacuum cleaner
- LOCATION: Isezaki Iljincho, Sesil Cafe
- QUEST GIVER: Professor Okita
- CHAPTER: Chapter 9 – A House Of Cards
- SUBSTORY NUMBER: 35
- PREREQUISITE:
WALKTHROUGH:
- Head to Sesil Cafe in Chinatown. Here you will meet an old man named Professor Okita
- Apparently Okita plans on creating a new cleaning robot but needs funds in order to do so.
- Speak to Okita once again to learn that we now need to make at least 1 million yen. The easiest way to do this is through the Ichiban Confections mini-game.
- Once you have the required money you can then return to Okita and give him it.
- A blue speech bubble will now appear on Carriage Highway, you can head there but you really don’t need to surprisingly enough. The only reason to go there is so you can get a text message from Okita but having said that I managed to get the message by just running away from the building in whatever direction I felt. Regardless though we do need that text message!
- After getting the text message from Okita, we now need to head to Jinnai Station
- Here a giant vacuum will appear alongside Professor Okita and a scene will occur. Poor kitty…
- Soon enough a fight will break out. Now I found this fight much more difficult than past substory fights, it felt more like a boss fight than anything. It didn’t help that I was slightly under-levelled too. However, being a machine it will be weak to Thunder elemental attacks so use that to your advantage. Also, focus your attacks on the Right and Left Arms and ignore the body for now.
- After the next scene the substory will then end.
