Yakuza: Like A Dragon has many different side quests or substories that you can try to find and complete, one of which is The Miracle Of Spice
This substory / side quest is triggered during Chapter 7 – The Spider’s Web
It involves trying out a rather hot and spicy dish
- LOCATION: Isezaki Iljincho – Commercial District
- QUEST GIVER: Troubled Elderly Woman (Umeko)
- CHAPTER: Chapter 7 – The Spider’s Web
- SUBSTORY NUMBER: 27
- PREREQUISITE:
WALKTHROUGH:
- Head to Commercial District in order to find an old woman trying to cross the road, unfortunately for her though her old age has made her too slow.
- After the scene you will now need to head to Koreatown in order to watch a man run off. It BUUUUURRRRNNNNNS
- Ichiban will wonder what the problem is and long story short you will be given x3 Miracle Kimchi
- With the Kimchi in our hands we can now travel to Jinnai Station
- Here proceed to speak to the High School girl (Kyoko) who seems to be having boyfriend problems.
- During the dialogue you will be given the option to give the girl some Kimchi, do so.
- After the scene with Kyoko we now need to travel to Hamakita Park
- Here you will find a man wearing a blue top and white short, turns out he is trying to improve his sprint time. Seems like someone else needs a dose of Kimchi! Give him some in order to move on.
- With all of that in mind, perhaps this will also benefit the poor old woman too. Lets return to her and hope that this time she manages to cross the road! (Commercial District)
- After the scene we now need to return to the Kimchi seller on Koreatown. After a bit more dialogue the substory will then end.
