Yakuza: Like A Dragon – The Traffic Census Sensei (Substory/Side Quest) Guide
Yakuza: Like A Dragon has many different side quests or substories that you can try to find and complete, one of which is The Traffic Census Sensei
This substory / side quest is triggered during Chapter 12 – The End Of The Yakuza
It involves counting people passing by.
- LOCATION: Isezaki Iljincho, East Jinnai Station
- QUEST GIVER: Man With Injured Arm (Shirabe Michino)
- CHAPTER: Chapter 12 – The End Of The Yakuza
- SUBSTORY NUMBER: 33
- PREREQUISITE: Unlock Sotenbori Battle Arena (Story Related)
WALKTHROUGH:
- This side quest / substory will become available after your first visit to Sotenbori and unlock the Sotenbori Battle Arena (Story Related)
- Return back to Iljincho and then head to East Jinnai Station
- Here you should notice a man sitting on a bench wearing workers gear
- Seems this man is a Traffic Census worker but unfortunately he is having issues doing his job due to tendonitis.
- Agree to help the poor man out (Give It A Try)
- You will now be tasked with counting the amount of men that pass by. The answer to which is 4 Men
- You will be rewarded with 10,000 Yen and Confidence +10
- Venture a little South to find the man once again.
- This time we will be tasked with counting the number of woman who pass by. The answer to which is 7 Woman
- You will be rewarded with Confidence +20 and 20,000 Yen
- Once again, for the final time, head a little South in order to see the man once again
- This time we will be tasked with counting the number of both men and woman that pass by. The answer to which is 5 Men and 6 Woman
- You will be rewarded with Confidence +20 and 30,000 Yen
- After a bit more dialogue the substory will then end
REWARD:
- Confidence +50
- 60,000 Yen
- Battered Tally Counter

I can’t get this to appear for me at all. I’ve unlocked Sotenbori Battle Arena, and the quest hasn’t appeared for me in either chapter 12 or 13. Any ideas on what I’m missing?
