Yakuza: Like A Dragon has many different side quests or substories that you can try to find and complete, one of which is Warmest Wishes
This substory / side quest is triggered during Chapter 9 – A House Of Cards
It involves the continuation of Megumi and her attempts to collect donations
- LOCATION: Isezaki Iljincho, Isezaki Road
- QUEST GIVER: Megumi
- CHAPTER: Chapter 9 – A House Of Cards
- SUBSTORY NUMBER: 23
- PREREQUISITE: Complete Substory – An Act Of Kindness
WALKTHROUGH
- You will once again meet up with Megumi who is still trying to collect donation money for her brother
- After the scene leave the area and then return once again when a blue speech bubble appears
- Here Megumi will tell Ichiban about her father entering a building with strange individuals. Ichiban suspects that he may be in trouble and goes off to investigate!
- Head to Central Street in order to continue
- Turns out that the father is being conned and a fight breaks out
- After the fight, Ichiban will find out that the family needs at least one million yen more in order to fund the surgery.
- When you reach one million yen (the Ichiban Confections mini-game is probably the easiest method for money grinding). Head to a nearby Taxi
- At the Taxi stand choose the Taxi to Hospital option
- As Masashi (the brother) is apparently sleeping, Ichiban refuses to wake him up and instead gives the money to the Nurse on his behalf
- After the scene make your way back to Isezaki Road (where you first started the quest)
- Here Megumi will read out the letter that Ichiban wrote back at the hospital and thank him for everything before then leaving.
- After the scene the substory will then end
