Masking For Trouble is one of the many side quests that you can complete within Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
It involves getting more information about the Pendleton Company and posing as an escort for a masquerade. It can be found and completed during Chapter 6 – The Renegade Secret

- WALKTHROUGH:
- You can get this quest from the Noble District by finding and speaking to Michele
- Michele will be looking for a gentleman who can pose as an escort to the masquerade. She ends up choosing Adol and Krysha will want to tag along in order to get more information about the Pendleton Family, since it is them who organised the event in the first place
- Once you take back control, you will then need to speak to various people in order to get some more information about the Pendleton Family. Thankfully, there is only 4 of them (technically 3 if you discount the fact that one is classed as a couple) to speak to and all of which are marked on the map
- What follows after that is a rather long scene before the quest finally comes to an end. You will be rewarded with a Mayura Stone and Ball Masks for your efforts
CONTENTS:
Apparently, Michele has been looking for a partner to go to the Pendleton Company masquerade with. Krysha seems interested in participating herself.
We should speak with Michele in the Noble District, if we decide to attend.
