A Plague Tale Requiem – All Collectibles (Chapter 9) Guide

A Plague Tale Requiem has many available collectibles that players can find and collect. Collectibles such as souvenirs, feathers, flowers, and secret chests

Getting all of these will net you with the following trophies and achievements; Immortal Memories, Ornithologist, Herbalist, and Explorer

There are a total of 21 souvenirs, 7 feathers, 10 secret chests, and 5 flowers to find altogether throughout your adventures through A Plague Tale Requiem.

(Note: Finding the knifes are difficulty restricted, meaning you will need to be playing on a specific difficulty in order to find them. We will also need to refrain from using them if you plan on collecting the secret chests)

This guide will show you the locations to all of the collectibles throughout Chapter 9 – Tales And Revelations

COLLECTIBLE: Souvenir (A Thousand More Years)

OBJECTIVE: Follow The Bird Statues
GUIDE: Descend down the stairs and Hugo will notice a bird and run off. Ignore him and continue along the path towards the water on the right. Here we will spot a tree at the end of the path, inspect it.

OBJECTIVE: Follow The Bird Statues
GUIDE: In order to get the secret armor we will need to solve the windmill puzzle. The windmill is located up the steps

Head inside the first windmill and interact with the mechanism, we need to push it, in order to turn it off. Both this windmill and the second windmill need to be turned OFF. In order to gain access to the second windmill simply pull the door open using the nearby rope.

We can gain access to the far right windmill by climbing under the cart and using your slingshot on the other side of the door, this will then unlock the door for us to enter.

Whilst the first two windmills need to be turned OFF. The remaining windmills need to be turned ON

We can turn the windmills OFF by pushing the mechanism in and turn them ON by pulling the mechanism out

Once the windmills have been solved proceed down the hill and through the ring alcoves. It will lead to an underground cave entrance. Head inside and collect the armour at the end.

The secret armour is a bracer that, when worn and equipped, allows Amicia to recover faster from enemy attacks.

GUIDE: In order to get the tools we will need to complete the windmill puzzle and head into the secret cave.

GUIDE: Heading south of the windmills we will come across a farm, complete with horses. Climb up the ladders of the farm building and make your way up to the rooftop. Here there will be a gap in the roof, get out your slingshot and aim through this roof to find something that we can lower inside.

After lowering the crate inside the building drop back down to the balcony of the building and aim through the window here, we want to aim at the door so that we can explore inside.

Head inside to find the tool chest.

OBJECTIVE: Follow The Bird Statues
GUIDE: Cross over the stone bridge and head left towards a tower. To the side of this tower we will see the door, use the slingshot to open it. Then head back around again and climb up the ledge.

Once inside the tower head through the now unlocked door and turn right and up the ladders. Then climb up the following set of ladders until you reach the very top.

Once at the top simply enjoy the views. Well actually one side of the rooftop will allow you to interact with it in order to unlock the souvenir.

OBJECTIVE: Follow The Bird Statues
GUIDE: We can find this secret chest inside the tower after crossing the stone bridge. Make sure to unlock the door on the side of the tower before actually entering the tower. From there head inside and through the now unlocked door. Turn right and up the ladders to reach the secret chest.

OBJECTIVE: Follow The Bird Statues
GUIDE: Cross over the stone bridge and enter the tower on the right by using the slingshot on the side door and climbing up the ledge. Head through the now unlocked door and climb up the ladders to the right. Here we can find the secret chest that contains the tools.

OBJECTIVE: Follow The Bird Statues
GUIDE: After crossing over the stone bridge we will come across a tower on the left. Before heading inside this tower make sure to unlock the side door by using the slingshot. From there climb up the ledge. Once inside open the now unlocked door to find the knife.

OBJECTIVE: Find A Way Around The Checkpoint
GUIDE: When you reach the gate with all of the goats head left and up the hill. Climb the ledge at the end and continue going up.

From there head towards the building and next to this building there will be some grass that we can burn, do so. Behind this grass is a large gap in the wall that we can send Hugo through, go ahead and do that.

Hugo will then unlock the door for us. Behind the door we will find a lonely lost goat

OBJECTIVE: Find A Way Around The Checkpoint
GUIDE: After getting the Tramontane souvenir, we can then find the tool chest in this same area. On the right.

OBJECTIVE: Find A Way Around The Checkpoint
GUIDE: After getting the Tramontane souvenir simply exit the building and continue going up, climbing a ledge along the way. Once you arrive at the junction turn left to find another ledge next to you, climb this one too. The chest is up here.

GUIDE: This tool can be found inside a secret chest. This secret chest is up the hill from the Tramontane souvenir. Then left up a ledge.

OBJECTIVE: Reach Las Madres
GUIDE: When you reach an area full of enemy soldiers we will come across a building. Make your way inside this building and head on up to the rooftop. Here we will come across various carts of flowers. The tool chest can be found here.

COLLECTIBLE: Feather (Barn Owl)

SUB-CHAPTER: Entering The Sanctuary
OBJECTIVE: Find A Way Around The Checkpoint
GUIDE: In order to find the barn owl feather we will need to make our way towards a tower. Then gain access to this tower. Be warned as there will be enemy soldiers lurking around. Head up to the top of this tower and then climb up a ledge. Up here we will find a tree and our barn owl feather

COLLECTIBLE: Old Protector (Trophy Achievement)
CHAPTER: Chapter 9 – Tales and Revelations
SUB-CHAPTER: Phoenix
OBJECTIVE: Explore The Sacred Quarters
GUIDE: The Old Protector is an unlockable trophy achievement. It can be unlocked when we are tasked with ‘Exploring the Sacred Quarters’. Our objective is to interact with all the old protector’s items in the sanctuary.

These items include a tent, wooden horse, bed, wooden dolls, toy chest, armor, weapons rack, wax tablets, black powder, jars, more jars, brewing station, cooking station, lab table, scrolls, and the floor.

These items are scattered in a total of four different rooms. There are 16 items that we need to inspect altogether.
