AION 2 Flight Power is a game stat that determines how long you can use your Wings. You’ll want to increase this stat if you want to cross longer distances while flying. Let’s see what you must do to boost Flight Power!
How AION 2 Flight Power Works
Flying is an early-game mechanic introduced in the tutorial. When you fly, you consume Flight Power. Once you are out of Flight Power, you can no longer fly. Luckily, there are ways that help you remain airborne for longer.
How to Unlock More Wings and Manage Flight Power
Flight Power can be:
- Increased by collecting Wings.
- Regenerated with consumables and recovery rings.
- Managed with fly techs.
Increase Flight Power
Each pair of Wings has two types of Effects:
- Equipped Effect – the effect is active only when the Wings are equipped by your character.
- Owned Effect – the effect is active even when the Wings aren’t equipped.
AION 2 Flight Power is an Owned Effect. You’ll boost this stat as you collect more Wings, allowing you to fly for longer. The game has 28 available Wings, which you can obtain from different game activities. Some Wings are unlocked through main quests, so focusing on Ascension quests allows you to boost Flight Power as you level up.
Regenerate Flight Power
There are three ways to regenerate Flight Power:
- Wait as it regenerates over time.
- Use consumables.
- Fly through recovery rings.
The Flight Power gauge slowly replenishes over time. Wind Serum is an Alchemy-crafted consumable that restores Flight Power. Although it’s a common item, it is among the most valuable potions. Recovery rings are found on the world map. Flying through them recovers Flight Power.
Manage Flight Power
In addition to increasing and regenerating this resource, you should also learn how to manage it through gliding. This is an action that allows you to keep moving without consuming Flight Power. Move forward while flying and press the Shift key to get a little boost. Quickly hit the flight key (V) while in midair to turn off flying and start gliding. You’ll continue moving forward without using Flight Power.
