AION 2 Empyrean Traces – How To Use Empyrean Feathers

AION 2 Empyrean Traces are collectible items found in the open world. You can start gathering them as soon as you leave the tutorial area. Let’s see what you can do with these Empyrean Feathers!

How to Use AION 2 Empyrean Traces

Empyrean Feathers unlock Empyrean Monolith rewards. The feather locations automatically appear on the world map once you finish the tutorial and enter the open world.

Although you cannot use them just yet, it’s a good idea to start collecting them. You can only gather the Feathers in your faction’s regions.

How to Upgrade Empyrean Monoliths and Unlock Rewards

Once you reach level 16 and complete the Empyrean Monolith main quest, you’ll be able to deposit the Feathers into your faction’s Monolith. The goal is to upgrade the Monolith Resonance Level to max level 30. Each level unlocks new rewards. Travel to your regional Monolith and interact with it.

The Resonance Level Progress shows how many Feathers you need to unlock the next level. Press the Resonate button to deposit Feathers and collect rewards, such as Soul Codex Resets, Unique Amplify Stone Fragments, and titles. You can check out all the rewards by pressing the Resonance Level Up Rewards information button (i).

Amulet Enhance Scrolls are among the rewards you get when upgrading the Monolith. Use these materials to upgrade your Amulet.

Unlike faction Monoliths, the Reshanta Monolith can only be upgraded to level 20 and offers PvP-specific rewards. AION 2 Empyrean Traces are region-bound, meaning that you cannot use Feathers collected in Verteron or Altgard to upgrade the Reshanta Monolith.

You’ll notice that you can still collect Feathers even after maxing the Monoliths. Extra Feathers can be converted into Power Shards using the Substance Morph function.
