Vakron Sky Island in AION 2 is an expedition available for players to unlock and complete. It won’t be available until you are at least level 45 and your gear levels are around 1,400. Once you reach these requirements, go back to exploration and find the Vakron Sky Island Dungeon.
What Is Vakron Sky Island In Aion 2?
Vakron Sky Island is a 1-5 player dungeon raid. It serves as an end game area within the base game. It involves three main boss fights. Such as, Tiere and Thamon followed by the ultimate boss fight against Vakron.
Whilst exploring Vakron Sky Island you will also encounter player debuffs. Your party gains an island debuff every 20 seconds, in order to prevent any headaches during this time you will want to use Fog Spiritstones to cleanse it. These can be found and collected by eliminating the level 54 Fog Spiritstone that spawn in the area. If you find yourself getting stuck and rooted other team members will have to attack and break you free in order to escape.
Tiere Boss Fight
To fight Tiere, you need to be aware of her poison ability. She can use poison mist which will send a purple, poisonous mist towards you and the other players. The trick is to run towards her to try and avoid it.
Thamon Boss
For Thamon, he can petrify you. He summons stones and if you get hit by it then you get petrified. The best way to avoid it is to wait until you see him hit the ground. Circles indicating the attack is coming will appear on the ground, so again, avoid them. Then hop over the shockwave.
He also gains a purple or red aura for 8 seconds, causing him to heal from magic damage with purple, or even physical damage with red. To avoid both of these attacks, you need to stay spread out unlike the previous fight.
Vakron Fight
Before you can reach the final boss fight against Vakron, you must unlock 4 elemental altars. Find the 4 Elements and offer each to its correct Elemental Altar to lift the stone wall. Then you can start the boss fight, which requires you to destroy it within a certain amount of time, or you fail.
The first thing Vakron is going to do is attack with 4 shockwaves which you should jump and then glide over. At some point, it might pull you and your companions towards it. Only way to get away is to get rid of the red stone. In addition, it can also lock onto you or someone else on your side. To get rid of this, just attack the companion who is being targeted.
Avoid these moves and remain spread out to best destroy this boss. Once you do you’ll recieve your rewards.
