Valor Mortis How to Complete the Lullaby Side Quest Baby's Spirit

The Lullaby Side Quest in Valor Mortis will require you to put a baby’s spirit at rest. You can do this by finding it’s doll and giving it back to baby’s spirit.

How to Start the Lullaby Side Quest in Valor Mortis

From the marketplace lantern in Chapter 3, keep to the left. Enter the first abandoned house on the left. Explore the house, and you’ll get the quest.

Head out the back door. In the backyard, there will be some enemies. Either wait for them to pass or fight them. Then grab the Weathered Key.

Finding the Doll

Go back inside and out the front door. Keep to the right until you find the lantern where you started. Head straight up the hill, climb through the carriage, then jump out the other side.

Keep to the right and go through the gap in the fence. In the backyard, there will be a cart. Turn right at the cart. Stay on the path and go through a gap in the large fence again. Eventually you’ll see a broken bridge.

The key you grabbed earlier is the same one you need to unlock the house door at the end of the broken bridge, so keep going until you reach it.

Unlock the door. The doll is sitting there in the crib. Interact with it, and it’ll go into your inventory. Unfortunately, you do have to head back to the house where you first got the quest. Once inside, go towards the crib. Once you give the doll back to the baby’s spirit, it will settle and finally be at peace.

In return for settling the baby’s spirit, you’ll get Tomorrow’s Promise Amber. It makes Ferro Flasks regenerates Health over time. Using another flask resets the timer instead of extending its duration.
