If you still haven’t reached 100% exploration in Tideblossom Coast because of a missing Lumin Amber, there’s a good chance you haven’t completed the Aniimo Petal Rose puzzle yet. This is one of the easier Lumin Marking puzzles to miss since, unlike most of the others in Aniimo, the markings won’t always be visible when you arrive at the location.
The Petal Rose puzzle has a specific time requirement before you can solve it, which can make the area look completely empty if you visit at the wrong time. If you’ve already checked the location but couldn’t figure out what you were supposed to interact with, here’s how to solve the Aniimo Petal Rose puzzle in Tideblossom Coast.
Aniimo Petal Rose Puzzle Solution
To solve the Petal Rose puzzle, head to the Lumin Marking location in Tideblossom Coast at around coordinates (0030, 0217). You’ll find the puzzle near the shoreline, with a large rock formation sitting just off the coast.
Before trying to solve anything, make sure the in-game time is set to night.
Similar to the Alpha Luminelle encounter, the Petal Rose puzzle only appears during nighttime. If you visit the coordinates during the day, you won’t be able to see the Lumin Markings on the nearby rock formation at all. This can make it seem like the puzzle is bugged or that you’re standing in the wrong location, but you simply need to change the time first.
To change the time, press ESC to open the menu. From there, select the Day and Night icon on the right side of the screen, then set the time to night.
Return to the shoreline afterward and look toward the rock formation. You should now see several glowing markings scattered across the rocks.
The final step is to line them up. Move around the shoreline and adjust your position while facing the rock formation. The markings may look separated from most angles, so continue moving until each part overlaps and creates the complete Petal Rose image.
Once you’ve found the correct viewing angle, stay in position for a moment. The game should recognize the completed Lumin Marking and reward you with the Lumin Amber.
If Petal Rose was the last Lumin Amber you were missing in Tideblossom Coast, completing this puzzle should also bring you one step closer to 100% exploration for the region.
