The Potion Seller Quest is the second quest players should come across in No Rest for the Wicked. It will introduce you to the potion-maker Markos and help you level up a few time before taking on Warrick. In this guide, I’ll walk you through both finding and completing No Rest for the Wicked‘s Potion Seller Quest.

Where to Find the Potion Seller Quest in No Rest for the Wicked
The Potion Seller Quest is found in a cave in the Orban Glades. It is in the area south of the campfire next to the wooden bridge leading back to Mariner’s Keep. After kicking down the bridge, look in the southeast direction to see a small ladder.

This will lead you down to a small platform with a glowing cave at the end.

Enter the cave and head north along the path.

You’ll find Markos near a campfire. He’ll introduce himself to you and give you the Potion Seller quest.

Completing the Potion Seller Quest in No Rest for the Wicked
The Potion Seller quest is divided into three parts. The first involves finding the Iona Bloom, the second requires you to climb to the highest point in the cave, and the last has you return to Markos.
How to Find the Iona Bloom
The path to the Iona Bloom is relatively straightforward, but there are a few jumps you might miss if you don’t know where to look. After speaking with Markos, head through the narrow path on the right.

Follow the path down a set of vines. There will be one enemy with a sword on the lower platform.

Jump across the gap to the next ledge. There is a fire-bomb-throwing enemy on the right. I killed him by moving next to the ledge he was on so that he jumped down to fight me with his sword. However, you can skip past him as well.

Climb down the ledge and head to the right.

You’ll come to the lower right corner of the cave. Follow the path upwards, defeating a Risen with a large, heavy axe in the process.

At the end of this path, there is a gap and then a cliff with vines. Make a running jump across the gap to grab the vines.

Climb the vines and head due north to see a ladder. You can explore the left and right ledges first for a bit of treasure, if you’d like.

Climb with caution, as the ledge above contains three enemies. Two use swords and shields, while the other has a large axe. You can continue along the path once the three are defeated.

Following the path will lead you to a small ledge with vines on the wall against it. Drop from your current space to that small ledge and climb up the vines to the next area.

Once at the top, you’ll need to travel to the right. There is a Whisper in this area guarded by a fire-throwing Risen and a Risen swordsman.

Once you’ve defeated them, activate the Whisper. You’ll be able to see the Iona Bloom in the back.

Travel upon the laid-out pathway to get to the Iona bloom. Once there, stand to its right and interact with it to start the second phase of the quest.

Getting to the Tallest Part of the Cave
After interacting with the Iona Bloom, the colors on the screen will get hazy. You’ll be able to use previously invisible platforms and will have the desire to get to the highest point in the cave. Start by returning to the Whisper using the same path you came down from. There will be new platforms along the path, making it easier to travel.

Head to the left of the Whisper area. Drop back down onto the ledge you climbed up from before the Whisper.

Head south down the path into the area where you fought the three enemies. There will now be a bridge on the southwest corner of this area.

Follow this bridge to a small section of wooden planks on a rocky tower. Cross them and enter onto the second part of the bridge.

Continue following this pathway to reach a set of vines.

After climbing the vines, head to the left until you come across a small gap in the rock. You’ll need to defeat a Risen enemy with a sword while dodging an archer’s arrows.

Jump the ledge and head north to find a new path created by effects of the Iona Bloom.

At the end of this path, you need to jump onto a wall of vines. The area at the top will have a Risen spear wielder with a shield and a regular swordsman.

Afterward, head to the northeast corner to of the area to find the next path.

Jump from the right side of the rock onto the next segment of the pathway.

After landing on the next rock, you’ll see the next path. Be careful as the pathway is winding and lined with archers ready to knock you off of it. I recommend running through to avoid all of their arrows.

At the end of the path, you’ll need to go through the gap in the center and head to the left. However, there is a large enemy with a club in the way. You can either fight him for the experience or run past him after he slams his club into the ground.

The end of this path has the last jump in the area.

The next area has spilled blood as well as two large golden faces.

Walk towards the center of the area to experience a dizzying cutscene.

When you recover, the quest will update to tell you to return to Markos.
Returning to Markos
Unlike the last two steps, returning to Markos is actually pretty easy. Start by entering the gap between the two giant faces.

This leads you onto a ledge overlooking the waterfall. Take a dive off the ledge into the water.

Follow the path to the south. You’ll come across a small ladder, which you’ll need to kick down.

This leads you to the area at the front of the cave. Talk to Markos to complete the quest. You’ll get a Potion of Medium Experience, which will give you 200 experience immediately. Markos will also decide to move himself to Sacrament.
